RED DRESS STORIES MB
Honouring Their Lives. Remembering Their Names.
Red Dress Stories MB is an evergreen memorial sharing the stories of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit and gender-diverse people across Manitoba.
Through stories, place, and remembrance, the project honours those who have been lost while helping communities better understand the ongoing impact of the MMIWG2S+ crisis.
Share A Story
Every person remembered through Red Dress Stories MB has a life, a family, a community, and a story that deserves to be honoured.
If you would like to share the story of a Missing or Murdered Indigenous Woman, Girl, Two-Spirit, or gender-diverse person from Manitoba, we invite you to tell us about them. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable providing, and you may include photographs that help celebrate their life and memory.
We do our best to ensure that the information shared through Red Dress Stories MB is respectful and accurate. We also recognize that information may change, be incomplete, or require correction. If you notice something on the site that should be updated or corrected, we welcome your feedback and encourage you to reach out to us.
Submissions are reviewed before being added to the Red Dress Stories MB project. If needed, a member of our team may contact you to learn more about the story you have shared.
